The Head Start/Early Head Start Teacher provides a safe, supervised educational setting for children in classrooms, outdoor play areas, and field trips; coordinates and implements school-readiness curriculum; encourages parent involvement; and meets federal and local program standards. The role requires relevant early-childhood education credentials and classroom experience, with compensation of $15.10–$21.13 per hour and benefits including employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance.
