Description
The Head Start/Early Head Start Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, supervised, and educational environment for children, promoting school readiness, and encouraging parent involvement. The role requires adherence to Federal Head Start Performance Standards and agency policies. The teacher will coordinate and implement curriculum tailored to diverse needs, including at-risk, special needs, gifted, and culturally diverse children. Strong communication and intermediate computer skills are essential, along with a valid Missouri Driver's License, Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification, and enrollment in the Child Care Division-Central Background Registry.
