Description
The Head Start/Early Head Start Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and supervised educational environment for children, implementing curriculum to promote school readiness, and encouraging parent involvement. The role requires adherence to Federal Head Start Performance Standards and agency policies. The teacher will adapt curriculum for diverse needs, including at-risk, special needs, gifted, and culturally diverse children. Strong communication and intermediate computer skills are essential, along with a valid Missouri Driver's License and the ability to obtain Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification.
