Description
The Head Start Education Supervisor oversees the educational component of a Head Start program, supervising and coaching teaching staff, supporting classroom instruction and lesson planning, analyzing child assessment data, ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and licensing requirements, and leading the center when the Principal is unavailable. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field, at least three years of early childhood teaching experience, and at least three years of supervisory or administrative experience. The position is assigned to a Head Start center, with work hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and may require travel.
