Description
The Head Start Teacher plans and monitors classroom activities, develops curriculum and lesson plans, assesses and documents children’s development, supports health screenings and referrals, maintains classroom and facility conditions, conducts home visits, engages parents, and prepares agency reports. The role also includes assisting with child transportation, supervising classroom staff, and participating in required training and background screening. It requires an AA degree or related early childhood education credentials, classroom supervision ability, vehicle operation, and a current license, with a stated salary range of 8.
