Oswego County Opportunities is hiring a full-time Head Start Teacher / Center Director to lead early childhood education and program leadership. The role combines classroom instruction using the High/Scope curriculum with supervision of staff, compliance with Head Start and Day Care Licensing standards, child assessment, home visits, parent conferences, and center operations. The position requires a bachelor's degree in early childhood education with related preschool-teaching experience and staff-supervision experience, or an associate's degree with an approved OCFS plan of study and two years of preschool-teaching and staff-supervision experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for 37.5 hours per week over 43 weeks per year, with pay of $22.50 to $32.02 and health, dental, and vision insurance available to full-time staff.
