Description
The Youth Development Apprentice is a hands-on learning role supporting early childhood education and youth development at the Y in Central Maryland. The apprentice assists classroom teachers, helps plan and implement curriculum and activities, documents children’s learning, supports basic care and safety, and builds positive relationships with children, families, and team members. The role requires a high school senior, recent graduate, or adult learner interested in early childhood education or youth development, along with strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
