Description
The Preschool Teacher creates responsive, safe, and nurturing learning environments for children in a Jewish community center preschool. The role co-constructs an emergent curriculum, documents children’s learning, plans classroom environments, supports families, supervises and scaffolds children, collaborates with teaching teams, and mentors Assistant Teachers. The position requires an MA in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, New York State N-6 or PreK-6 certification or study plan, strong written and oral communication, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Zoom; three years of early childhood teaching experience is preferred.
