Description
The Welding Team Lead combines advanced MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding with leadership duties. The role leads and coordinates welding activities, performs advanced welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials, interprets technical drawings, inspects welds against AWS and ASME standards, trains and mentors welders, monitors productivity, maintains equipment, and supports quality and lean manufacturing initiatives. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of welding experience in fabrication or manufacturing, and proficiency with the listed welding processes; AWS and ASME certifications and prior leadership experience are preferred.
