Description
The Safety Manager reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for identifying hazardous workplace conditions, training employees on safety policies and regulations, conducting compliance audits, maintaining records, supporting OSHA inspections, establishing safety goals, communicating safety issues to plant management and supervisors, investigating incidents, developing corrective actions, maintaining safety equipment, and supporting safety-related budgets. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or a related field, 5–7 years of safety or related experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
