Description
The Safety Officer will develop and implement safety policies, procedures, emergency response plans, and awareness programs; monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; inspect work environments, equipment, hazardous materials, and personal protective equipment; investigate incidents; provide safety training; maintain safety records; and respond to safety-related inquiries. The role requires a safety officer experience, occupational health and safety knowledge, reporting and data-analysis skills, MS Office proficiency, and a current driver’s license, with an average 12-hour shift and a two-weeks-on/two-weeks-off schedule.
