Description
The Health Services Specialist provides leadership and oversight for comprehensive health services for children from birth to age five across Sheltering Arms programs. The role manages health, dental, nutritional, and health-education services; ensures compliance with Head Start, BFTS/DECAL, and NAEYC requirements; maintains health records and medication documentation; supports RTI, SST, IEP, and IFSP processes; trains staff and community partners; and coordinates community health and nutrition linkages. The position is full-time and year-round, based in an admin office with multiple center locations and travel required.
