Description
The Heat-Treatment Operator racks and loads parts into and out of furnaces, sets up and operates heat-treat equipment, processes parts according to engineering and customer specifications, monitors process-recording systems, inspects heat-treated parts with precision measuring equipment, follows production schedules, and completes quality documentation. The role requires mechanical, mathematical, problem-solving, communication, computer, inspection, and safety skills; a high school diploma or GED; the ability to lift 40 pounds; and willingness to work the third shift and overtime.
