Description
The Dixon Group is hiring a Heavy Assembler for its Dixon Specialty Products division in Chestertown, Maryland. The role involves insulating, armoring, and testing small- to large-bore hoses; assembling heavy machinery components; using hand and power tools; performing quality checks; collaborating with engineering and production teams; documenting processes; packaging parts; and maintaining a safe work environment. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, blueprint-reading ability, and proficiency with hand and power tools, with assembly or manufacturing experience and welding experience preferred. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with pay of $18 to $20 per hour.
