Description
The Refuse Disposal Division is hiring a Heavy Construction Equipment Operator to operate and maintain heavy motorized construction equipment, transport equipment to job sites, inspect equipment and work sites, perform minor repairs, operate roll-off container trucks, support rights-of-way and street maintenance, set up traffic control, and respond to emergencies. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, three years of heavy construction equipment operation and maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; a valid state commercial driver's license; and knowledge of safe equipment operation and department safety procedures.
