Description
The Heavy Diesel Mechanic performs journey-level mechanical diagnosis, repair, overhaul, preventive maintenance, and emergency roadside service on district buses, white fleet vehicles, and other automotive equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, four years of heavy-duty diesel and gasoline mechanic experience, a California Class A or B commercial driver's license with Air Brake and Passenger endorsements, and required ASE automobile and school bus certifications. The position is typically full-time, 40 hours per week, with medical, dental, vision, and term life insurance benefits.
