Description
Palmer Trucks is hiring a Heavy Duty Equipment Installer/Fab Technician to install and repair truck equipment such as dump truck bodies, snowplows, hydraulic pumps, and tarp systems. The role involves routing air and hydraulic lines, MIG welding, basic electrical work, fabricating and assembling truck components, troubleshooting, completing quality controls, and recording repair orders. The position reports to the Fab Shop Manager, may require varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and on-call or emergency repair work, and requires the ability to lift 60–150 pounds unassisted.
