Description
The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains production and facility equipment in an oil and gas sand-mining environment. The role performs emergency and scheduled maintenance, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and industrial work; reads manuals and work orders; replaces or repairs parts; conducts preventative maintenance; and participates in an on-call system. It requires at least one year of heavy-equipment maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work extended shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays in all weather conditions.
