CraneWorks/RentalWorks is hiring a full-time Field Service Technician in Mobile, Alabama to travel to customer job sites and inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mobile rental, construction, industrial, and on-highway equipment. The role covers mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, diesel-engine, and brake repairs; preventative maintenance; service documentation; customer communication; and field service reporting. Candidates need at least three years of heavy-equipment repair experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver's license; a CDL is preferred. The position requires regular travel, varying schedules, overtime, and weekend work, and offers medical, dental, and vision insurance plus retirement and other benefits.
