Description

The role operates excavators, bulldozers, front-end loaders, backhoes, motor graders, agricultural tractors, compactors, and chainsaws to perform excavation, trenching, land leveling, soil and waste removal, drainage, slope maintenance, and field cleanup. The operator follows specialized-operator and supervisor instructions, maintains equipment, reports abnormalities and unsafe conditions, and participates in company training. Requirements include elementary education, completion of a mandatory Powered Transport Equipment Operator Course, at least three months of situational training and supervisor authorization, and 6 to 12 months of experience; vocational training is desirable.
