Description
The Heavy Equipment Operator will safely and efficiently operate construction equipment such as dozers, graders, backhoe loaders, excavators, loaders, skid steers, and packers while performing safety checks, maintenance, cleaning, and secure storage. The role also includes grading, material handling, berming, drainage maintenance, and communicating equipment needs to the Superintendent or maintenance department. Candidates need at least two years of heavy equipment operation experience, construction or similar experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to interpret grade stakes and perform related earthwork and grading tasks.
