Description

The Operator - Heavy Equipment is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, and front-end loaders at a recycling center, landfill, or transfer station. This includes tasks like transferring, spreading, covering, loading, and compaction of waste or soil. The operator must perform routine inspections, maintain equipment, document conditions, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Two years of prior related experience in heavy equipment operation.
One year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA.

Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
