The City of Tacoma is recruiting Heavy Equipment Operators to support infrastructure maintenance, repair, operations, and construction projects across the city. The role involves operating wheel loaders, excavators, graders, backhoes, cranes, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment; guiding and supporting crew members; and working safely in outdoor environments. Positions may require emergency call-outs during nights, weekends, and holidays, and the role requires physical ability to climb, lift, bend, and sustain vibration.
