Heavy Equipment Operator at Ulliman Schutte

Ulliman Schutte is hiring a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator for a stable, multi-year heavy civil construction project in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The role involves operating excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, or wheel loaders; maintaining equipment; supporting the Superintendent with production schedules; and working a standard 40-hour week with overtime opportunities. Candidates must have experience operating 35,000-pound excavators or larger, be able to grade slopes and perform bench-cutting and shoot-grading, and be authorized to work in the United States. A high school diploma or equivalent and experience with buried pipe and underground utility work are preferred, and all candidates must pass a post-offer drug screening and physical.
