Description
Whitaker Construction is hiring a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator to operate and maintain construction equipment such as loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, graders, rollers, skid steers, articulated trucks, scrapers, and track hoes. The role includes site preparation, excavation, grading, material handling, equipment inspection and preventative maintenance, utility detection, crew communication, and safe equipment storage. Candidates need at least three years of heavy equipment operator experience with multiple equipment types, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work long hours and outside conditions. The position offers $23–$35 compensation, health, dental, and vision benefits, an ESOP, retirement matching, paid time off, and other incentives.
