Heavy Equipment Operator (CDL Class A Required) at Cape Fear Public Utility Authority

This is a heavy-equipment and water/wastewater maintenance role responsible for operating and transporting heavy equipment, maintaining right-of-ways, repairing water leaks and temporary bypass pumping equipment, assisting with sewer and water-point construction, inspecting lines and manholes, establishing traffic-control zones, repairing landscaping, maintaining vehicles and equipment, completing logs and work orders, and completing safety training. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, six months of construction experience including heavy-equipment operation, NC Grade 1 Collections preference, and a valid North Carolina Class A CDL driver’s license.
