Description
The Heavy Equipment Operator – Grader Operator assists the Project Team Lead and General Foreman by operating and maintaining graders, positioning loads, performing equipment inspections, preparing and finishing terrain, managing soil and haul roads, and supporting other crew members. The full-time position is located north of Fort McMurray, Alberta, on the Syncrude MLX Site, with a 14 days on, 7 days off schedule and 11.5-hour shifts. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, a valid class five driver’s license, a three-year driver’s abstract, CSTS and OSSA or BSO or CSO, Ground Disturbance II, and at least three years of grader experience in construction, reclamation, civil earthworks, mining, or oil and gas; camp or flight accommodations are not provided.
