Description
De Beers is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for its Mine Operations Department at the Gahcho Kué Mine Site in the Northwest Territories. The role operates heavy mobile equipment such as haul trucks, dozers, loaders, excavators, and shovels to excavate, grade, and move hard rock, while performing safety checks, monitoring equipment, following mine procedures, and communicating via two-way radio. It is a site-based, two-week-in/two-week-out rotation fixed-term contract ending April 2027, requiring a high school diploma or equivalent, on-the-job training and experience with at least three listed equipment types, and three years of mining experience at remote or open-pit sites.
