EquipmentShare is hiring an Apprentice Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) at its rental facility in Oxford, Alabama. The role repairs complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment, maintains work documentation, assists with equipment and parts pickup and delivery, supports lower-level technicians, and may travel to customer job sites. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime after 40 hours and on-call scheduling with additional compensation. The position requires advanced mechanical aptitude, construction-equipment knowledge, tool ownership, communication skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; a high school diploma or trade school certificate is preferred, along with experience in field service, maintenance, and repair.
