Description

This role involves maintaining and repairing Helmet Mounted Symbology System (HMSS) equipment for the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Typhoon operations. The technician ensures compliance with safety, SHE, and quality assurance standards, conducts scheduled and unscheduled repairs, generates performance reports, and supports the Saudisation process through on-the-job training. They also contribute to improving processes and adhering to continuing airworthiness principles.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Extensive proven experience within the field of Aircrew Life Support Equipment & HMSS serving on an operational military flying unit.
Thorough working knowledge of HMSS maintenance, fault finding and fitting procedures.
Practical experience working on HMSS and associated test equipment.
Broad experience of coaching and mentoring techniques to supervise and develop others through a training evaluation strategy.
Experience of multi–tasking to manage a diverse range of engineering and management activities.
Extensive experience in various Aircraft Engineering environments.
Preferred Qualifications: Leadership skills and proven ability to supervise all levels of engineering personnel.
Hold 2nd signature.
Must obtain Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership at the appropriate level, prior to starting the new role or commencing employment in KSA, SCE membership must be maintained throughout their employment in this role.
