Description
The Waste Collection Helper assists drivers and other employees in collecting solid waste and recyclable materials from residential trucks, customer premises, and curbsides. The role involves loading and sorting materials, operating truck equipment, assisting with vehicle maneuvering, maintaining routes and vehicle standards, removing prohibited waste, and following safety procedures. It is an outdoor route-based position requiring physical lifting and movement, with a high school diploma or GED and one to three months of related experience or training desired but not required.
