Description
The Safety Specialist provides technical support for routine operations, projects, maintenance, construction, and emergency response; develops, maintains, and audits safety programs; investigates near-misses, incidents, and injuries; develops safety training materials; and serves as a subject-matter expert for fall protection, excavation, and other regulatory programs. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with two years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree in a health, energy, or safety-related field, completion of a Marathon Petroleum HESS internship, a valid driver’s license, and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. The primary location is Findlay, Ohio, with additional locations listed, and the salary is $80,800 to $121,200.
