Optime Group is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for a physically active, local waste and recycling collection role at Gatwick Airport. The driver will operate a Class 2 vehicle around airport terminals and operational areas, collect and transport domestic and commercial waste to the airport recycling centre, load and unload containers, complete vehicle checks and transport documentation, report defects, follow airport security and safety procedures, and comply with drivers’ hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations. The role pays £17.82 per hour on a 4-on, 4-off rota, offers weekly pay and staff parking, and may lead from temporary to permanent employment.
