Description
DPD is hiring a permanent HGV Driver for its Isle of Wight national transport team. The role involves nationwide bulk collections and deliveries, trailer swaps, loading and unloading, route management using GPS and digital tachographs, customer and dispatcher relations, vehicle inspections, and safe driving. The position is based at Unit 2, New Barn Business Park, Newport Road, Merstone, PO30 3BT, runs Monday to Friday from 19:00 to 07:15, pays £16.35 per hour plus a night-rate premium and enhanced overtime, and requires a valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) licence, CPC Card, Digital Tachograph Card, and at least six months of Class 1 vehicle experience.
