Description

Biffa Waste is hiring an HGV Technician at its Trafford Park Depot to maintain and repair heavy goods vehicles and waste-management handling equipment, perform scheduled preventative service and inspections, and meet health and safety, DVSA, and operator licence requirements. The role offers a joining bonus, hourly pay, shift and tool allowances, and overtime or call-out availability, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 10:00am to 19:30pm. Candidates should be skilled or semi-skilled technicians, preferably holding an HGV/PSV apprenticeship, City and Guilds, NVQ, or IRTEC qualification, and must hold a car or van driving licence; an HGV licence is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications: HGV licence
IRTEC qualification
