Description
Dennis Eagle is hiring an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic in Bexley to maintain and repair refuse collection vehicles for its Aftermarket team. The role involves diagnosing faults, repairing chassis and mounted equipment, servicing vehicles to VOSA and MOT standards, completing body and chassis repairs, maintaining records, liaising with customers, and following health and safety procedures. It is a 45-hour-per-week schedule between 12:00 and 00:00 Monday to Thursday, with a salary of £47,333.52–£53,660.88 per annum depending on experience. The ideal candidate has an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance, commercial vehicle repair experience, diagnostic skills, and knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, and wiring diagrams; experience with electric vehicles, IRTEC qualification, or an HGV Class 2 licence is a bonus. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements may be available.
