Applied Atomics is hiring a High-Power Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems for its first-of-a-kind nuclear power plant and company facilities. The role owns the full lifecycle of major electrical infrastructure, including switchyards, distribution, grounding, protection, power-system modeling, studies, interconnection, vendor management, construction support, commissioning, energization, and troubleshooting. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field and at least six years of experience designing HV/MV systems in industrial, utility, aerospace, energy, nuclear, or similar environments. The position offers hybrid and remote work options and a remote pay range of $138,342 to $195,322 USD.
