Description
KIPP Columbus is hiring a Specialized Learning Classroom Intervention Specialist to provide specially designed instruction to students with low-incidence disabilities in small groups, while also teaching core and social-emotional learning curriculum. The role implements IEPs, differentiates instruction, supports independence and self-advocacy, coordinates with families and related-service providers, participates in IEP and MTSS meetings, and uses data-driven decision-making. A bachelor’s degree and current Ohio Special Education Intervention Specialist License or willingness to obtain certification are required; prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
