Description
Samtec is hiring a permanent HIGH DATA RATE APPLICATIONS ENGINEER in Kanagawa, Japan to modify standard electronic interconnect products for customer applications, define solutions, assign custom part numbers, review engineering changes and production-ready prints, prepare cost sheets, and coordinate with customers and internal engineering, sales, procurement, and management teams. The role requires 3–5 years of inside or technical sales experience, a technical background, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or an equivalent technical discipline; English business communication is required. The position is based in Yokohama City, Kanagawa, with a 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. schedule, includes travel to customers and trade shows, and offers health insurance and other welfare benefits.
