Description
Ascend Performance Materials is hiring an industrial electrical maintenance and reliability professional to support high-voltage electrical and 12-pulse rectifier systems at its Decatur site. The role maintains and troubleshoots substation switchgear, transformers, breakers, motor starters, motors, control loops, interlocks, and distributed control systems; reads and creates electrical drawings; writes and executes switching procedures; performs preventive maintenance; investigates equipment failures and root causes; and coordinates with manufacturing, operations, reliability technicians, and engineers. The position requires an associate degree in electrical or instrumentation, or a high school education with specified Work Keys scores, plus industrial electrical experience and willingness to work call-ins, overtime, and unscheduled hours.
