Description
The High-Voltage Substation Cable Technician works on high-voltage electrical substation construction, extension, and renovation projects, assembling and installing equipment, cabling control, protection, command, and automation systems, making electrical connections, and performing inspections and tests before energization. The role requires electrical training, experience with high-voltage substation projects, knowledge of AIS and GIS technologies, strong safety and quality practices, and a Category B driving license. It is temporary with a view to a permanent contract and involves travel to various construction sites and client locations.
