Description
HDR is hiring a Highway Bridge EIT/Designer to support structural engineering and bridge design for highway and railway projects. The role involves applying structural engineering and detailing techniques, designing steel plate girder, prestressed concrete, segmental and cable bridges, box culverts, and interchanges, performing load calculations, assisting with geometric layouts and quantities, using specialized bridge engineering software, and participating in bridge inspections. A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree in structural engineering, EIT certification, bridge or structural design experience, and familiarity with the listed software are preferred or required qualifications depending on the item.
