Highway Design Intern at Michael Baker International

Michael Baker International is hiring a Summer 2027 Highway Design Intern to work from its Detroit (Dearborn), Michigan office. The intern will support transportation engineers and project managers with highway and roadway planning, design, analysis, drafting, calculations, data collection, field documentation, reports, and administrative tasks. The role requires enrollment in a civil or environmental engineering bachelor’s or master’s program with at least one year of college coursework, Microsoft Office skills, and strong analytical and communication abilities; AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred. Compensation is approximately $20–$26 per hour.
