Description
HDR is hiring a Highway EIT/Coordinator to support the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects within its Transportation Business Group. The role involves alignment and profile, roadway geometrics, drainage, plan development, construction estimates, and preparation of technical reports, specifications, and calculations. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar field; an Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate is preferred, and those without one may enter under a Design Coordinator code with an expectation to obtain it. Proficiency with Civil 3D, MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, highway design software such as Bentley ConceptStation, OpenRoads Designer, Autodesk InfraWorks, and familiarity with WisDOT procedures are preferred.
