Description
HDR is hiring a Highway Engineer to support roadway and highway design for moderate to large projects and independently manage smaller projects. The role involves preparing roadway alignments, sections, intersections, interchanges, sight-distance determinations, and right-of-way plans using local or AASHTO standards; managing scopes, budgets, schedules, communications, reports, subconsultants, and junior staff; and contributing to transportation planning and design-build work. A bachelor's degree, professional engineering license, at least five years of transportation engineering design experience, Ohio Department of Transportation project experience, highway CAD software expertise, and strong communication and organizational skills are required or preferred.
