Description
AECOM is seeking a Highway Engineer Intern to support medium- to large-scale transportation projects in Delaware and Pennsylvania. The intern will assist with roadway alignments, traffic control plans, right-of-way determination, utility coordination, preliminary and final design calculations, plan development, field information review, and construction-plan drafting under supervision. The position is based in Newark, Delaware, requires a hybrid schedule, and is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2027. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and have completed at least one year of study; relocation assistance and US employment authorization sponsorship are not available.
