The Bridge Maintenance Worker operates specialized construction and heavy-duty equipment, performs skilled bridge maintenance, manual labor, traffic-control setup, emergency and inclement-weather operations, and equipment inspections. The role may lead a small crew, requires two years of related work experience or approved equivalence, a valid motor vehicle operator’s license, and attainment of a Class A Commercial Driver’s License within six months. It involves physically demanding work, extended outdoor exposure, and possible overtime.
