Ford is hiring an HIL Hardware Engineer to design, build, validate, and integrate hardware-in-the-loop test benches for powertrain and electrification programs. The role covers I/O and signal-conditioning architecture, wire harnesses, custom PCBs, simulator and ECU integration, automotive communication protocols, bench debugging, and bring-up activities. Candidates need an electrical engineering degree, at least five years of HIL or embedded electronic test-system experience, and three years of automotive electronic-control-systems experience. The position is hybrid, requiring onsite work four or more days per week, and offers a base salary of $99,600 to $192,900.
