Description
CHAOS Industries is hiring a full-time, on-site Hardware-in-the-Loop Engineer in El Segundo, California. The role designs and operates HIL test benches for effector platforms, integrates flight controllers, ESCs, sensors, communication links, and other hardware with high-fidelity simulation models, develops automated regression tests, debugs hardware-software interactions, and supports the transition of validated systems to integration and flight testing. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, at least three years of relevant experience, proficiency with real-time simulation platforms and Python or C/C++, familiarity with drone communication protocols and flight controllers, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. The position offers medical, dental, and vision benefits, a base salary of $130,000–$190,000, and additional compensation components.
