Description
The Medical Records Specialist receives and processes medical record copy requests, prepares, scans, indexes, and performs quality assurance on patient documents in the electronic health record, identifies incomplete or missing records, tracks legacy records, and coordinates medical record merges across systems and physical charts. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of recent relevant experience, knowledge of applicable medical information and compliance laws, and familiarity with document imaging and forms management. It is a full-time, regular, non-exempt position with a Monday-Friday schedule, no weekend requirements, and hourly pay of $39.93 to $55.90.
